Attention all Grubmasters...

All of the food tubs and coolers are now stored at the Ferris's 6157 Nichols Rd Mason, Mi 48854 Click here for a map.

For the outings, the Grubmasters are to complete their menu's and make a shopping list. Then they need to make an appointment to pickup the food tub and cooler at the Ferris's. The last meeting before the outing is a good time.  At that time the troop store is open for the Grubmasters to get food for the outing. (The food in the troop pantry provided to the patrol s at no cost) If a list is sent at least 1 day prior to the pickup the food can be loaded in the tub, this makes the pickup faster!

After the outing the food tubs need to be brought back to the Ferris's and the extra food returned to the store. The coolers should be brought back WASHED OUT and empty. We do not have a freezer for frozen foods and refrigerated items will not keep for the time needed to the next outing, so please do NOT bring back any perishables!!!

Milk is to come from the troop store, provided we have it!!!   All other fresh foods will need to come from Meijer's, etc AFTER you pick from the troop store.

By "buying" from the "Troop Store" everyone can save a lot of money!!  We purchase in bulk and also do not allow food to continue to just keep adding up miles by riding around in a tub while another patrol could be eating it!!!

Remember to double check your menus before shopping!!  Do you have food planned for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day while at camp??  What activities do you have planned on any days??  Will you be able to cook for every meal or should a particular meal be cold cuts???  Make sure you have planned ahead!!!
