Welcome to Mason Boy Scout Troop 763's website - I hope you can find everything you need.

About Mason Boy Scout Troop 763:

We think we have a terrific troop. Our troop currently is made up of 4 patrols; Airborne Eagles, Border, Pirates, and Secret Agents. We are a boy lead troop. Our meetings are held in the lower level of the Mason First Presbyterian Church, 131 E. Maple, Mason, Mi 48854. It is the stone church on the northeast corner of the Ingham County Courthouse. Most of the reason for our success comes from the strong and active participation of our scouts and their families. Communication is key to active participation, especially with families that are new to our troop. The purpose of this website is to provide information on how our troop does things. It is designed to answer questions that scouts and their parents have raised over the years.

For those keeping track, we are part of the Ojibwas District, in Chief Okemos Council, Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Our troop was established in the early 1970s and is the oldest BSA troop in the Mason area still in operation. Neighboring troops, with which we are a partner in a variety of activities, include 141 (Mason, chartered by the St James Parish), 21 (Dansville), and 779 (Leslie). Most of our scouts come from Mason area Cub Scout packs although we also draw from home school families and those from neighboring communities. Others join our troop without ever being in Cub Scouts.
