Rule # 1       Don&#= 8217;t Sweat It If Things Don’t Go Perfectly.

 

Rule # 2 &n= bsp;     Be Willing To Do Things Differently Than They Were Done Before.

 

Rule # 3       Use Common = Sense!

 

Rule # 4 &n= bsp;     You Don’t Have To Know It All!  There Are Many, Many Sources Of Information And Many, Many People Willing To Help.

 

Rule # 5  &= nbsp;    Always Remember Scouting Is For The Boys and Their Families.  Get Everyone Involved As Much As Possible.

 

Rule # 6 &n= bsp;     Leaders Need To Talk To One Another.  = Good Communications Will Help Prevent A Minor Situation From Becoming A Major Conflict.

 

Rule # 7  &= nbsp;    Plan Ahead As Much As Possible, But Always Be Willing to Make Changes.

 

Rule # 8  &= nbsp;    Listen To The Needs Of The Scouts And Parents.&nb= sp; You Will Learn More By Listening Than By Talking.<= /p>

 

Rule # 9 &n= bsp;     When You Delegate A Task Or Job, Be Prepared To Accept That It May Be Done Diffe= rently Than The Way You Would Have Done It.  Different Is Not Wrong, Just Different!  However, The Person Doing The Job = MUST Follow Through Successfully, = And The Person Delegating MUST Allo= w Them Room To Be Successful.

 

Rule # 10 &= nbsp;   If You Expect Success, You’ll Be Successful.

 

Rule # 11 &= nbsp;   Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff, BUT Have A Plan.&nb= sp; Always Be Willing To Revise, Change, OR Even Abandon Your Plan And M= ake A New One.

 

Rule # 12 &= nbsp;   Listen To Your Instincts.

 

Rule # 13 &= nbsp;   Go To Every Training Opportunity That Inter= ests You; Many Are Available Online.  However When You Meet With Other Scouters, You’ll Have Fun and Expand Your Network Of Contacts and Resources.
